The Franchise Insiider is India's most ethical franchise advisory firm, founded in 2014. We are now opening a founding cohort of City Partners — professionals who are ready to leave the safety of a salary, take ownership of a city, and build a real business under the TFI brand.
You bring the hunger, leadership, and capital commitment. We bring the brand, the IP, the systems, the lead flow, and 11+ years of franchise advisory depth.

The Opportunity
As a TFI City Partner, you will own and operate The Franchise Insiider's advisory presence in one major Indian metro. You will build and lead a regional team that delivers TFI's three flagship services to brands in your city:
- DB Franchise Framework (DB-FF) — Structural franchise design for emerging brands
- Virtual Franchise Sales Office (V-FSO) — End-to-end franchise sales channel execution
- Strategic Advisory — Founder-level guidance on scale, governance, and expansion
All work is delivered through our proprietary DB-7™ Method: Discover → Blueprint → Build → Deploy → Track → Scale → Harvest.
You will not be selling franchises. You will be running a regional advisory practice — and upholding the ethical standards that make TFI the firm it is. Six out of ten brands that approach us do not become our clients. As a City Partner, you will be the one making those calls in your market.
What You Will Own
- Full P&L responsibility for your city operation
- Hiring, training, mentoring, and leading a team of franchise advisors, project managers, tele-callers, and support staff
- Running the client lifecycle — from Franchise Eligibility Test (FET) → Online Meeting → Closure
- Building TFI's regional ecosystem (co-working operators, CA firms, business consultants, marketing agencies, investor networks)
- Upholding TFI's ethical filters, including the 60% ethical gate that decides which brands deserve to be franchised
- Delivering on growth and revenue targets aligned with TFI's 2030 IPO roadmap
What TFI Provides
This is a turn-key partnership. You are not building from scratch.
- Hiring Support — Centralized recruitment frameworks, candidate sourcing, KRA/KPI structures, interview panels, onboarding playbooks
- Training & Certification — Full immersion in the DB-7™ Method, V-FSO playbooks, advisor certification track, sales pitch decks, pricing systems, and FET/OFA protocols
- Qualified Lead Flow — Inbound leads from TFI's central marketing engine; access to drip campaign infrastructure and the FET → OFA pipeline
- Technology Stack — TFI OS, Odoo CRM and operational dashboards (19 dashboards across six tiers), Fireflies meeting intelligence, WhatsApp automation, reporting infrastructure
- Brand & IP — Operate under The Franchise Insiider brand with full use of DB-7™, DB-FF, V-FSO, and all proprietary client frameworks
- Strategic Mentorship — Direct working relationship with Founder & MD Dhinal Baxi, Co-founder Sameer K. Dessai, and the central leadership team
Investment & Equity Structure
This is a serious entrepreneurial commitment, structured transparently.

You are not just running a city. You become a shareholder in the parent company we are building toward public listing.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: 8–10 years in sales, business development, consulting, franchise industry, retail expansion, or general management
- Leadership: Demonstrated track record of building and managing teams (minimum 5+ direct reports in past roles)
- Mindset: You are leaving employment because you want to build — not because you are escaping
- Network: A real, working network in your target city (business owners, founders, investors, brand operators)
- Financial Readiness: ₹15 lakhs license fee plus personal working capital runway
- Ethics: If you measure success by volume over substance, this is not for you
- Commitment: Full-time, hands-on. TFI Partner is not a side project or a passive investment
Selection Process
We treat this with the same rigour we apply to selecting brands for our advisory roster.
- Application — Submit profile, current role, target city, and a short note on why you want to leave employment and build with TFI
- Partner Eligibility Conversation — 60-minute discussion with the central team
- Founder Interview — In-depth session with Dhinal Baxi
- City Plan Submission — Selected candidates submit a 12-month plan for their target metro
- Reference & Financial Verification
- Partner Term Sheet, License Fee, and Onboarding
Timeline: 4–6 weeks from application to onboarding for selected candidates.
