3. Role Overview
This is a focused advisory role. You will own one mandate: acquiring new clients for the DB Franchise Framework (DB-FF) — TFI's flagship structural franchise design service.
Leads are pre-generated and qualified by our marketing engine. Discovery meetings are scheduled by our in-house Telecalling Expert. Your job is to walk into the meeting prepared (virtually or in-person), conduct the Franchise Readiness Audit conversation, present the DB-FF solution, handle objections, and close the deal.
You are not a hunter. You are a closer. We have built the funnel — you bring the closure rate.
4. Work Mode
This is a Work From Home role. You will operate from your home office in Hyderabad and conduct most discovery and proposal meetings virtually.
Client visits are on an appointment basis, scheduled in advance through the Telecalling Expert. You will travel to a client site only when:
- An Onsite Franchise Audit is required as part of the closure process.
- A high-value prospect specifically requests an in-person meeting.
- A signed-deal handover or onboarding warrants a physical visit.
Travel will be primarily within Hyderabad and adjacent South India markets, fully reimbursed as per company policy. You must have a stable home internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a personal laptop/system that meets professional video-meeting standards.
5. How the Lead-to-Close Engine Works
To set the right expectation, here is exactly how leads will flow to you:
- Step 1 — Lead Generation: Marketing team generates inbound leads via digital campaigns, content, and brand presence.
- Step 2 — Telecalling Qualification: Telecalling Expert qualifies the lead, runs the FET (Franchise Eligibility Test), and books a discovery meeting on your calendar.
- Step 3 — Your Discovery Meeting: You conduct a 20-minute discovery meeting (virtual or in-person) using TFI's standard discovery framework.
- Step 4 — Onsite Franchise Audit: You schedule and conduct the Onsite Franchise Audit — TFI's signature trust-building step.
- Step 5 — Proposal & Closure: You present the DB-FF proposal, handle objections, and close the deal across our three packages: FranchiseLaunch, FranchiseProven, FranchiseBoost.
- Step 6 — Handover: Once closed, the client is handed over to the delivery team. Your role is complete; you move to the next opportunity.
6. Key Responsibilities
A. Client Acquisition for DB-FF
- Attend pre-scheduled discovery meetings with qualified inbound leads.
- Conduct Franchise Readiness Audit (FRA) conversations and qualify brands at TFI's 60% threshold.
- Conduct Onsite Franchise Audits at the brand's premises on an appointment basis, when the deal stage requires it.
- Present the DB Franchise Framework (DB-FF) — its scope, deliverables, and why it differs from broker-led models.
- Position TFI's three DB-FF packages and recommend the right fit based on the brand's stage.
- Handle objections, negotiate ethically, and close the deal.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly closure targets for DB-FF mandates.
B. Pipeline Discipline & CRM
- Maintain accurate stage updates in Odoo CRM after every meeting.
- Submit a daily meeting report and a weekly closure forecast.
- Provide structured feedback to the Telecalling Expert on lead quality so the funnel keeps improving.
- Flag any lead that does not meet TFI's ethical readiness threshold — we would rather lose a deal than mis-sell.
C. Client Handover
- Once a DB-FF deal is closed, prepare the internal handover note for the delivery team.
- Introduce the client to the delivery lead in a warm handover call.
- Stay available for any clarification during the first 7 days of delivery onboarding.
7. What You Will NOT Be Doing
To keep your focus sharp, this role explicitly excludes:
- Cold calling or self-prospecting — leads are provided.
- Calendar scheduling — meetings are booked for you.
- V-FSO (franchise sales for client brands) — handled by a separate team.
- Strategic Advisory mandates — handled by the Founder.
- Delivery of DB-FF projects post-closure — handled by the delivery team.
Your one job: close DB-FF mandates ethically and consistently.

10. Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree (mandatory) in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Strategy (preferred, not mandatory).
Experience
- 3–6 years in consultative B2B sales, franchise advisory, business development, or strategy consulting.
- Demonstrated track record of closing high-ticket deals (₹1 lakh+ deal sizes preferred).
- Prior franchise industry exposure is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
Skills & Competencies
- Consultative Selling: You sell by diagnosis, not by pitch.
- Business Acumen: Comfortable discussing unit economics, ROI, and franchise model viability with founders.
- Communication: Fluent English + Telugu (mandatory). Hindi is a plus; Tamil/Kannada an added advantage.
- Presentation: Confident pitching to founders, CXOs, and HNI investors.
- CRM Discipline: Hands-on experience with Odoo
- Ethical Backbone: Ability to walk away from a deal when the brand isn't ready.
